Sarawak-based property developer Ibraco Bhd is venturing into a relatively competitive and challenging property sector in Peninsular Malaysia with its maiden mixed development project, Continew, with a gross development value of RM450 mil.

The company, which was incorporated in September 2002, has embarked on property projects largely in Sarawak, focusing on township developments mainly in Kuching and Bintulu. But the shift to Kuala Lumpur was a matter of time.

“Ibraco decided to expand to KL to broaden its market share and recognition, enhance the company’s experience and strengthen its quality standards,” says managing director Datuk Chew Chiaw Han.

“This site was chosen mainly due to its close proximity to key attractions such as the new IKEA Cheras, MyTown Shopping Centre, Tun Razak Exchange and the Royal Selangor Golf Club,” he tells FocusM.
