New substantial shareholder emerges in Kobay Tech

Kobay Technology Bhd's third-largest shareholder, Premiergrow Capital Sdn Bhd, has emerged as a substantial shareholder of the company.

This follows the acquisition of 2.22 million shares, or a 2.17% stake, in Kobay Tech by Premiergrow Capital which elevates the latter’s stake to 7.09% from 4.92%, a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Oct 26 shows.

Premiergrow Capital is owned by Tan Ean Khim and Tan Beng Huat with a stake of 70% and 30%, respectively.

Led by its managing director/CEO Datuk Koay Hean Eng, Kobay Tech is engaged in the provision of precision machine and metal stamping components, sheet metal fabrication, oil and gas subsea structural machining and fabrication works, among others.
