After years at Baselworld, Ulysse Nardin takes a spot alongside some of the most prestigious watch brands – think Audemars Piguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Cartier, among others - at SIHH that was held in January in Geneva this year.

“I’m happy and sad at the same time,” declares CEO Patrik Hoffmann. “Sad because Basel is my hometown so I’ll always have a special affection for Baselworld. But I think this is also the right step for us. (SIHH) is a salon, not just a fair, and it provides a much better platform for a qualitative experience for the retailers, editors and end consumers. While it certainly elevates our branding, it doesn’t necessarily mean we’re going to write more orders; we see this as a long-term move and investment.”
