The endless battle to combat drug trafficking

Kudos to the police, especially the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID), and the Customs Department’s narcotics branch (KDRM), for the seizure of almost four tonnes of drugs – 500kg of ketamine in 11 gunny sacks and 3.23 tonnes of cocaine – worth RM676 mil in Shah Alam recently.

This is the biggest drug bust in Malaysian history.

It was a well-planned operation with strong leadership and good intelligence gathering and cooperation between the two law enforcement agencies.
