SC to see overhaul in finance & investments units

The Securities Commission of Malaysia (SC) is expected to see major shifts in its corporate finance and investments (CFI) unit, which is tasked to review and approve Main Market listings on Bursa Malaysia, say sources familiar with the matter.

The SC confirms with FocusM that there will be movements at the top, effective early next year.

“The SC confirms that the head of CFI has advised that he wishes to pursue other endeavours upon completion of his con- tract at the end of the year. The SC also confirms that separately, a general manager from CFI will be leaving for other career opportunities.
