AmBank BizRACE Top 10 Finalists have been selected

AmBank (M) Berhad is pleased to announce its Top 10 businesses for the AmBank BizRACE Season 2. The 10 businesses were shortlisted from the initial Top 30, based on their business presentation during the Top 30 Pitching Session to the panel of judges on 8 April 2019.

The Top 10 Businesses for Season 2 are listed as below:

4. Greenbulb Energy
5. Innergia Labs
6. Neuto
7. The Picha Project
8. PTT Outdoor (Malaysia)
9. Vineyard F&B
10. Midwest Green

“We would like to congratulate the Top 10 businesses for successfully making it into the final stage of the race where we will be selecting the most deserving business as the Champion of the AmBank BizRACE season 2,” said Christopher Yap, Managing Director, Business Banking, AmBank Group.

Prior to the Top 30 pitching session, the 30 businesses were exposed to a Four-Day Development Training Sessions which took place on 11, 12, 25 and 26 March 2019. These training sessions covered the topics of Leadership, Culture, Innovation and Process Excellence conducted by subject matter experts in the respective fields.

AmBank had also hosted a two-day training session for the Top 100 consisting of a business simulation programme by UTM-Azman Hashim International Business School and an internationally recognised immersive leadership simulation experience.

AmBank completed its second year of BizCONFERENCE series last year consisting of five nationwide conferences which were held in Pulau Pinang, Kuala Lumpur, Klang, Melaka, and Johor. Each event featured local entrepreneurs and subject matter experts from various industries who shared about their entrepreneurship journey. Three of the BizCONFERENCE sessions were catered to bilingual Malaysians, enabling a more inclusive learning environment than before.

This year’s AmBank BizRACE official partners include Media Prima, the UTM Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), Microsoft Malaysia, EY and MasterCard. The programme will be further supported by media partners NSTP, Media Prima TV Networks (MPTN), Ripple and Rev Asia.

Participating businesses in their respective stages of the AmBank BizRACE will stand a chance to gain RM 2 million worth of prizes including media exposure for their business, experience a development programme worth RM310,000, a China learning field trip worth RM340,000, a UK-based executive development programme worth RM265,000, AHIBS Executive Education Award worth RM21,000, Media Prima Marketing Strategy Award worth RM30,000, and Microsoft Digital Transformation Award worth RM50,000.
