MARii and DEVhub to develop talent pool matchmaking online portal

THE Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) collaborated with Developers Hub Sdn Bhd (DEVhub) to develop solutions and applications for future industries, dubbed as DEVhub Prime.

The announcement was made during a media briefing held in MARii Headquarters on Sept 10, 2020 in Cyberjaya where a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was exchanged between the two parties.

DEVhub Prime will be an online portal that functions primarily on a matchmaking algorithm. It utilises big data analytics (BDA) and artificial intelligence (AI) to match the developer’s talent pool to specific projects within the technology industry.

The portal will feature a rating system based on skill sets, work experience and performance of potential partners and ensure the candidates are matched with the most suitable projects.

“Through the utilisation of Industry 4.0 technology, DEVhub Prime will provide the best path for local tech developers to grow, enhance and gain experience with the right company,” MARii CEO Madani Sahari said.

It is believed that the establishment of DEVhub Prime will benefit more than 3,600 exciting local technology developers in the DEVhub Malaysia community.

Additionally, future plans of the collaboration include the development of an academy for the upskilling of local talents and the establishment of an investment arm to engage in various projects involving (but not limited to) system development and integration. – Sept 12, 2020
