Vitra – the family-owned Swiss design company founded in 1950 – has opened its new Kuala Lumpur store in partnership with local furniture dealer, Haus Living Concepts.
The 200sqm store displays furniture for various designs – from living and dining rooms and home offices to formal and informal office settings, all adaptable to diverse living and working spaces.
For the Southeast Asian market, Vitra looks set to introduce its pioneering office furniture in the contract sector.
The Home Collection showcases an extensive range from tables, chairs to sofas and accessories. As a highlight in the store, Vitra presents the Vlinder sofa, a piece that combines the archetypal form of a contemporary sofa with fabric exclusively designed and developed to fit this sofa’s shape. The innovative textile bears the signature of Dutch designer, Hella Jongerius and pushes the boundaries of modern weaving technology.
