Jemput Makan returns at the Resort Café with a Bazaar-To-Go menu

Over 70 traditional and specialty dishes to be savoured with the family at home, from signature a la carte choices to a delectable Set Menu, delivered directly to your doorstep.

Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa’s annual Jemput Makan themed food offering at The Resort Café returns from April 24 to May 21, 2020. Preserving the true meaning of celebration through food and culture consisting of a vibrant mixture of flavours and aromas, over 70 traditional and specialty dishes can be savoured with family and loved ones at home, delivered directly to diners’ doorsteps.

For larger families or those who prefer serving various main dishes in bigger portions, the Bazaar-To-Go Menu has a mix of chef’s signature dishes and nostalgic favourites in the a la carte menu. The signature dishes consist of a whole Grilled Lamb marinated with herbs and spices and grilled to perfection for three hours, the Gulai Itik Salai – a signature dish from Kuala Pilah which is Smoked Duck in Gulai Lemak Cili Api prepared with a spicy and sour gravy, Deep-fried Soft Shell Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk and Red Snapper Fish Head Curry with assorted Vegetables. Other dishes in the a la carte menu include the Seafood Platter, Grilled Lamb Shoulder with Lemongrass Percik Sauce, Lamb Shank Briyani Rice, Grilled Barramundi or Pompano Fish, Traditional Malay Oxtail Soup and more. Items in the a la carte menu must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance and at least 48 hours in advance for the whole Grilled Lamb.

Soft Shell Prawns

The Bazaar-To-Go Menu also consists of a Selera Kampung Set Menu where diners can choose four main courses and two vegetables which are further accompanied by complimentary appetisers, side dishes, homemade Sambals, rice and drinks for MYR238 nett, serving 3-4 persons. Dishes under the main course consists of traditional recipes using key ingredients like Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Fish, Squid, Prawn and Mussels in various cooking styles like Rendang, Masak Gulai, Masak Merah, Asam Pedas, Masak Buttermilk, Sambal, Masak Lemak Cili Api and lots more. Orders must be placed at least four hours in advance for the set menu.

The Bazaar-To-Go menu is available only at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa and delivery to be arranged through Grab Delivery or Lalamove where charges will be borne by the guest and paid directly to the driver upon order submission. For those ordering within Sunway City, FREE delivery is available. Last delivery or pick-up is by 6.00pm daily from April 24 to May 21, 2020. In addition, Sunway Pals members can enjoy 15% off total food bill and earn 5X Pals points, which is based on the transaction amount after discount.
