MAGGI empowers women via upskilling workshop

INTERNATIONALLY known brand MAGGI organised a three-day Bengkel Online Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI workshop to impart knowledge and insights in the areas of confidence enhancement, digital upskilling, entrepreneurship and cooking skills to over 905 local women.

Within those three days, the participants learned about increasing self-awareness, building self-confidence as well as improving communication skills and the know-hows of starting a business using Google platforms and tools.

“Community support is truly important for us, especially during this critical time where families are impacted by the pandemic,” said MAGGI business executive officer Geetha K Balakrishna.

“The online workshops impart various entrepreneurial skills such as how to tap into digital platforms or tools to enhance businesses efficiencies and expand market reach for one’s products and services,” she explained.

“MAGGI aims to impact more women especially from the B40 communities and at the same time to develop the right modules which suit and fit the ever-changing needs of these communities. The series of online workshops will continue into 2021,” added Geetha.

The three mentors of the Program Mentor Wanita Cukup Berani MAGGI, namely Datin Paduka Eina Azman, Sheila Rusly and Anne Idris also provided their personal sharing and advice during the online workshops.

“If you’re running a food business, you must also cater to the needs and requirements of your customers. So, do not be afraid to try something new or even a new recipe, because you will never know how the end results are, if you don’t even take the first step to try,” added MAGGI Cukup Rasa brand ambassador Datin Paduka Eina Azman. – Nov 19, 2020
