Arrival of new vaccine batch hopes to reduce the count of new COVID-19 cases

IT seems the country is having a hard time trying to bring down the number of new COVID-19 cases as low as it was earlier this week, with today standing at 1,178.

However, it is hoped that the arrival of the new CanSino COVID-19 vaccine this month would be able to help with that.

According to Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, there will be 3.5 million doses of the vaccine.

Regardless of that, there have also been six COVID-19 related deaths today, bringing the total to 1,278, while 1,377 patients have been cleared and discharged (total 331,001)

Unfortunately, there are still 163 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units and 81 of them still require ventilator support. – Apr 1, 2021
