Berkeley Group St George, Knight Frank Malaysia launch London project

BERKELEY Group St George and Knight Frank Malaysia have launched a new landmark London development, Grand Union in the United Kingdom.

In a joint statement, it said the new landmark waterside development would see the regeneration of a 22-acre site into a vibrant new neighbourhood for North West London, delivering much-needed homes and jobs in the London Borough of Brent.

The 5,000 sq ft community centre will encompass a community garden and kitchens and provide workshops and flexible event spaces for existing and new residents.

The new development would also reconnect the local area with the Grand Union Canal and River Brent by opening up previously inaccessible parts of these waterways to local residents and creating and improving routes to Stonebridge Park.

Located on the southern part of the Grand Union site, next to the Old North Circular, there would also be a new multi-storey light industrial hub called the Generator, which will be the first of its kind in the UK providing flexible workspace for start-ups to more established businesses.

Grand Union offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with prices from £395,000 (RM2.149 mil). — April 29, 2020, Bernama
