FEDERAL Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa has hinted at a longer Movement Control Order (MCO) period, saying that data from the Ministry of Health “foreshadows a longer ‘sacrifice’.”

The minister, through his Twitter page, said that data from the MoH shows a longer MCO period might be needed to break the chain of transmission for Covid-19, and notes that he “believes standard operating procedures and detailed guidelines” will be revealed shortly.
He has also promised that the ministry will continue to enforce the MCO in the federal territories to protect the citizens living there.
This comes a few hours before Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is set to make an announcement about additional measures to the Prihatin economic stimulus package. – April 6, 2020
