TRANSPORTATION services provider Konsortium Transnasional Bhd recorded a wider audited net loss of RM90.50 mil for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2019, compared to RM34.26 mil, resulting in a 64.5% deviation.
“The deviation is mainly due to the impact of Covid-19 which has resulted the company to recognise additional impairment on goodwill and receivables and recognition of deferred tax assets to current year statement of profit and loss,” the group said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.
Among others, there was additional impairment loss on goodwill of RM44.09 mil, Konsortium Transnational said.
The counter’s shares opened flat at 4 sen after the midday break today. – July 14, 2020
