MUDAJAYA Group Bhd has received a letter of award from Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of street lighting, high mast, and traffic light systems for Section B of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) project.
The contract was awarded to Mudajaya Corporation Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mudajaya, with a contract sum of RM31.99 mil. It is targeted to be completed by July 2020, with a construction period of six months from the date of site possession.
This raises the outstanding order book of Mudajaya to RM1.4 bil to-date, and is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2020.
At the close of trading on Jan 21, Mudajaya’s shares were done at 52.5 sen, down a sen, with 11.69 million shares changing hands. – Jan 21, 2020
