Number of new COVID-19 cases going down, but will it get back up?

JOHOR managed to climb its way down from being one of the states that are still putting up the number of new COVID-19 cases by the hundreds, registering only 81 today.

With the total number of new cases today standing at 1,199, only four states are left as the highest contributors, namely Selangor (283), Sarawak (267), Kelantan (138) and Penang (125).

Another good news is that Perlis is the only state in the country that has zero new COVID-19 infection within the last 24-hours, with Labuan at two and Terengganu at three.

However, there were still two deaths that occurred, bringing the cumulative total to 1,251.

There were also 1,257 recoveries, putting the count to 325,183.

Additionally, there are still 167 patients in intensive care units and 72 COVID-19 infected patients that require respiratory assistance. – March 27, 2021
