AirAsia celebrates CMCO lifting by offering three-day sales

AS the Government lifts lockdowns on certain parts of Malaysia, AirAsia announced a three-day sale for all domestic travels, beginning today till Dec 9.

“We welcome the Government’s decision to allow intestate and inter-district travel within the country starting today.

“Following the decision, travellers can start booking for domestic flights on airasia.com and its Asean super app.

“All-in BIG Member fares are from as low as RM12 for one way, for travel period between Dec 14 and June 30, 2021,” said AirAsia Malaysia chief executive officer Riad Asmat.

He added that all flight booking made from now until Dec 31, with travel period from now until March 31, 2021, are entitled to unlimited date changes with no flight change fee, via My Bookings.

Touching on air travel, Riad said AirAsia was committed in ensuring safety of all its passengers, as it would practise stringent health and hygiene procedures onboard its aircraft for COVID-19.

“We have stepped up all precautionary measures, to ensure travellers will have a safe journey with us. AirAsia has recently been recognised by aviation safety experts Airlineratings.com with top seven stars for COVID-19 health ratings, providing a seamless, hygienic and contactless flying experience, “he said.

He also said that domestic air travel continues to be an important aspect to rejuvenate the economy and AirAsia will be part of the process to help the Government.

In view of that, AirAsia have announced eight new domestic routes, and is sharing the RM12 Cuti-Cuti Malaysia promotion with great value fares that will cater to the pent-up demand for domestic travel.

“We are also delighted to collaborate with Tourism Malaysia to offer RM50 e-vouchers for the Cuti-Cuti Malaysia campaign, which was announced on Nov 24 Nov.
