IS the monsoon season keeping you in a bind with all that dark clouds and rain? For those people who like drying their laundry in the open but are not around to watch over it, they may have found the solution in a creative, young girl.
According to a video post by netizen amighul deghaman, a girl could be seen explaining her invention which is able to retract the laundry the moment moisture is detected on the sensor.

No description of the setting is provided, but likely, it took place at a science fair. The girl added that the owner only needs to wipe off the moisture from the sensor and the laundry will immediately be returned to the open.
The video has since become a hot topic on cyberspace. However, the comment section is rife with skepticism with many expressing doubts of its commercial success.
Netizen zarul said it is a good project worthy of a grade A for effort. However, it is tough to be commercialised in terms of practicality.
“Why is this? It is simple. We already have a dryer. Instead of buying a machine like this, it is better to buy a dryer. The shirt dries up immediately. No need to dry it in the open,” he said.
One netizen said that by the end of the contest, the group who made apps will win.
Another said that this idea was executed by people 10 to 15 years prior. It did not translate into a product as few people are brave to invest in it, as people mostly will not use it.
Also, the cost of the laundry shop is cheaper instead of fixing this machine.
In our opinion, technology has advanced to the point where the sun no longer holds a vital role for laundry drying.
The girl’s invention may serve as a novelty or an object for discussion, but nothing further.
