KANGAR, 2 Feb -- Mufti Kerajaan Negeri Perlis Prof Madya Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin ketika ditemui BERNAMA di pejabatnya di sini hari ini.
Mohd Asri sekali lagi dilantik sebagai Mufti Negeri Perlis berkuatkuasa 1 Februari 2015 bagi menggantikan Dr Juanda Jaya yang tamat perkhidmatannya pada tahun lalu.
Mohd Asri yang memiliki ijazah kedoktoran (Ph.D) dalam Pendedahan Pengetahuan dan Warisan (Al-Quran dan Sunah) dari Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia sebelum ini pernah dilantik sebagai Mufti Perlis pada 1 November 2006 sehingga November 2008 sebelum digantikan oleh Dr Juanda Jaya.
