KOTA BHARU, 23 Mei -- Orang ramai dilihat membeli barangan keperluan harian ketika tinjauan di Pasar Siti Khadijah hari ini.

Pasar Siti Khadijah yang terletak di tengah bandar Kota Bharu menjadi tumpuan penduduk setempat dan dalam kalangan pelancong luar untuk mendapatkan pelbagai jenis barangan makanan.

Ketua Persatuan Antarabangsa Pengilang Dalam Operasi Eurasia pada Jumaat berkata semua institusi, termasuk Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB), Pertubuhan Makanan dan Pertanian PBB (FAO), Pertubuhan Perdagangan Dunia (WTO) dan Tabung Kewangan Antarabangsa (IMF) bersetuju dunia akan menghadapi krisis kelaparan yang tidak pernah berlaku sebelum ini.

"Setiap biji gandum berharga, kita mesti mengambil langkah mengurangkan kelaparan dengan mengelakkan pembaziran serta mencegah kerugian, kata Eren Gunhan Ulusoy.
