IRATE with VIP convoys causing traffic congestions, a group of motorists decided to show their displeasure at the former by honking in unison.
In a 28-seconds video posted on social media yesterday, one could hear a motorist saying “Ini punca dia” (This is the cause) repeatedly while the footage shows a nearly empty road on the other side.
Soon after, a police convoy escorting a VIP showed up on the other side of the road and motorists started honking their vehicles loudly in unison, apparently to show their frustration at being blocked just so the VIP can proceed without facing obstacles on the road.
It is unclear where the incident took place and who the VIP was.
The video was posted by user Datuk Jahat Hensem yesterday, with a caption: “Wow ada VIP kena hon orang ramai sebab buat orang jem jalan kena tutup kejap nak bagi dia lalu.”
