MALAYSIA Airlines Bhd former managing director Tan Sri Dr Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman died last night (Jan 22) from cancer complications. He was 87.
The funeral prayers will be held at the Saidina Umar Mosque in Bukit Damansara this morning before his remains are laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery nearby.
Abdul Aziz was the first managing director of MAS. He had served the airline since its inception in 1971, first as company secretary. He retired as managing director and CEO in 1991. – Jan 23, 2020
