The post is also littered with Malaysians questioning more than ever before the reasons that have led to former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s recent controversial statement on Indians and Chinese Malaysians, comments that have angered a lot of social media users.
X users have shared their opinions regarding the matter, stating that MAHADI (a combination of Dr Mahathir and PAS leader Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang) is one of Malaysia’s biggest problems.

However, our survey of the post shows that many believe politics, along with low wages, inflation and housing are among the most pressing issues. But the political issue dominates the comments, particularly with reference to Dr Mahathir.
Moreover, Dr Mahathir claimed that the Indian and Chinese communities in Malaysia lack loyalty to the country. Many officials and politicians have indeed condemned the elderly statesman for the controversy, urging him to stay away from statements that incite hatred.
Besides the former premier controversial statement, some users think the bigger issue is a lack of accountability among political figures.

in recent times?…the unnecessary headlines by the media somehow written in a way to sow discord and create more tension….then leaving open the comments section for trolls and fake accounts to plunder in to further make things worse.
