REXIT Bhd, a leader in Software-as-a-Service, has taken proactive measures to bolster its cybersecurity framework.
Today, Rexit announced the appointment of LE Global Services Sdn Bhd, a cybersecurity firm under LGMS Bhd, to conduct an independent audit aimed at reinforcing its data security systems against potential breaches.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Rexit highlighted that the move follows an extensive internal audit confirming the robustness of its current data security processes, with no incidents of data breaches detected.
However, Rexit’s additional step to engage LE Global Services reflects a broader commitment to anticipate and mitigate emerging cybersecurity threats.
“We take data security and integrity very seriously,” remarked Rexit CEO Gallen Lee.
“Our appointment of LE Global Services as our independent cybersecurity audit firm underscores our commitment to safeguard the confidential data and information of our customers and our own organisation.”
According to Lee, the decision to bring on LE Global Services was influenced by the firm’s strong track record in cybersecurity.
“This independent cybersecurity audit will also help us future-proof our IT and data security protocols, providing added reassurance to our customers into the foreseeable future,” he added.
The audit, scheduled for completion by the end of December 2024, is expected to validate Rexit’s cybersecurity infrastructure while providing actionable insights for further enhancement. – Nov 2, 2024
