BURSA Malaysia ended the morning session mixed, as profit-taking in heavyweight stocks at the end of the morning session weighed the barometer index.
At 12.30pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 1.05 points to 1,488.90 from Wednesday’s close of 1,489.95.
After opening 2.41 points better at 1,492.36 this morning, the index moved between 1,488.90 and 1,497.31 during the morning session.
On the broader market, gainers continued to lead losers by 408 to 311, with 357 counters unchanged, 1,996 not traded and 17 others suspended.
