They have confirmed 40 properties across four countries and are working to verify the locations of 29 others. Authorities have frozen RM23.96mil in GISB assets, including vehicles, land, boats, animals and watches.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said in an interview with Harian Metro that these assets are spread across 15 countries.
“We are in the process of confirming the location of 29 premises believed to be in 11 countries with our strategic partners,” Razarudin said.
According to him, the police have launched 99 investigations under “Op Global”, resulting in 82 charges, with some cases still under review or investigation.
GISB has been declared deviant by the National Council of Islamic Religious Affairs for its claims, including that Syeikh Muhammad Suhaimi is the Imam Mahdi. — Nov 16, 2024
