HILTON Petaling Jaya’s all-day dining restaurant, Paya Serai, will be presenting “Nostalgia Tan Sri P Ramlee” to honour the late artist this coming Ramadan season.
Fans of P Ramlee are invited to feast on his all-time favourite dishes at the halal-certified buffet dinner that will comprise over 350 dishes and 30 live action stalls.
The Ramadan buffet will run from April 20 to May 23 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. It’s priced at RM158 nett per adult and RM78 nett per child from April 23 to 27 and May 17 to 23. From April 28 to May 16, the buffet dinner is priced at RM168 nett per adult and RM88 nett per child. Special early-bird price of RM118 nett per adult is available for bookings made before April 5.
Look out for live action food stalls named after the celebrated figure’s songs and films like drink station “Ohh Manisku” which will be serving teh tarik and coffee; mamak corner “Simpang Enam Komtar” that will be dishing out penang char kway teow, bee hoon, mee mamak and maggi; roti station “Panggilan Pulau” featuring tossai, roti canai, roti boom, murtabak, roti john, kari ayam mamak and dalcha; “Antara Dua Darjat” that will be serving kambing mamak special with briyani; and “Orang Minyak” for a variety of delicacies such as goreng panas-panas pisang, keladi, cempedak, sukun, sweet potato, karipap, samosa, and popiah goreng.
Patrons will be entertained throughout their meal with the screening of several of P Ramlee’s popular movies and a live band performing his greatest hits. There will also be a display of the late singer’s portraits, car and more.
Paya Serai is located on the lobby level of Hilton Petaling Jaya and is open daily from 6am to 10.30pm. A special 25% discount is available for Hilton Dining Asia-Pacific (APAC) members and a 15% discount for selected credit cardholders.
