WHILE MANY netizens lamented that the drunk driver who killed a father of three children had gotten away too easily, a different form of justice has been served.
In a recent news, Nor Nadia Abdul Majid, the wife of the deceased will receive RM2,888.17 per month from PERKESO for life.
Even though the angry mob who were baying for the death sentence will not be satisfied, at least, the lady would have a stable source of income after the family provider had been brutally snatched from her.
However, despite the good news, some netizens pointed out that the money received from PERKESO does not reflect the reality of the situation.

“They do their work so quickly,” said netizen @RahimRazali8. People can only wonder if his comment was a praise or rather masked sarcasm.
@daudsu86 further pointed out that PERKESO should be providing service not only because this case was viral, but for everyone else who deserves it.

“Looking for material for popularity? How about the rest?” wondered another netizen.

Away from the negativity, quite a number of netizens were just happy that the unfortunate family could now breathe easily with the money they will be receiving:

According to news portal Free Malaysia Today, PERKESO CEO Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed, said the compliance of the late employer, TVH Malaysia, in contributing consistently for 15 years was the main factor in the heirs being eligible to receive the full pension rate.
In addition to the monthly pension, PERKESO also provided a funeral management benefit of RM3,000 as well as a guarantee of educational loan assistance to the late children when they move on to higher education. —Apr 5, 2026
