DagangHalal partners Comasia to drive booth sales, HIAS export readiness at Mega Halal Bangkok 2026

DAGANGHALAL, the world’s largest B2B Halal e-marketplace operator, has sealed a strategic partnership deal with Comasia Ltd for the latter’s Mega Halal Bangkok 2026 showcase.

This collaboration strengthens the home-grown company’s role in facilitating international halal trade while opening new commercial pathways across exhibitor acquisition, buyer engagement and digital compliance enablement.

Under this partnership, Comasia has entrusted DagangHalal to invite global buyers to the event while acting as the official booth sales agent for Malaysia, China and Japan.

This places DagangHalal in a commercially strategic position to support both the demand and supply sides of the exhibition ecosystem.

Slated for July 15 to 17 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC), Mega Halal Bangkok 2026 is expected to feature over 400 exhibitors and 15,000 visitors from more than 70 countries.

Official materials highlight Thailand’s position as an ASEAN gateway, hence offering strong trade connectivity for markets across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and East Asia.

The exhibitor profile spans Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh.

To improve buyer quality and increase the probability of real deal-making, the organiser is promoting an Overseas Buyer Sponsorship Programme.

Under this initiative, qualified buyers may receive either a two-night hotel stay or a US$200 subsidy, subject to programme requirements. This materially strengthens the event’s business-matching value for exhibitors seeking genuine international engagement.

Complete halal trade ecosystem

“This commercially meaningful partnership validates our growing role in cross-border halal trade execution,” enthused DagangHalal.

“For suppliers serious about export growth, this is a strategic opportunity to meet qualified buyers in a structured environment.”

However, with international buyers increasingly wanting suppliers that are fully prepared and audit-ready, DagangHalal contended that “this makes our Halal Internal Assurance System (HIAS) strategically important”.

“HIAS helps businesses strengthen their compliance discipline and improve traceability,” stresses the e-marketplace operator. “That level of readiness makes the conversation at the booth more credible and the post-event conversion process much stronger.”

Presented as a SaaS (Software as a Service)-based digital platform, HIAS is designed to simplify halal and food safety compliance.

Anchored on three core pillars – compliance, traceability and intelligence – the digital halal compliance platform enables businesses to replace fragmented manual processes with digitally managed workflows.

HIAS currently supports rigorous standards such as HAS, GMP, HACCP, ISO and ESG, thus facilitating businesses to build buyer trust and unlock new markets.

By combining physical trade access through Mega Halal Bangkok with digital compliance capability through HIAS, DagangHalal is establishing a complete halal trade ecosystem.

Companies from Malaysia, China and Japan interested in booth participation are encouraged to register through DagangHalal while businesses aiming to strengthen compliance and buyer confidence can explore HIAS through its official website. – April 16, 2026
