WHILE a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators were gathering for a rally at Lorong Binjai, a lone counter-protester, identified by witnesses as an Israeli national, openly approached the crowd.
It is said the individual deliberately provoked the demonstrators by displaying a sign written in Hebrew and directed a cynical smirk toward the gathering.
A user on Threads, falasketun, described the incident they witnessed and posted a video showing a police officer escorting the lone protester away from the rally.

Protesters in another video ask for proof that the person is Israeli, but there is no evidence that they are.
Voices are heard saying, ‘Get out of our country’ and asking, ‘are you Israeli?’, to which the lone individual said ‘yes’. But the person did not show their identity document (ID) to the crowd.
There are also no videos or screenshots showing whether the police managed to obtain the individual’s ID.
However, another part of the incident, where the police seemed to snatch an ID from a Malaysian protestor (pro-Palestinian indeed) sparked outrage.
The protestors also question how an Israeli managed to enter Malaysia despite the country’s ban on their passports.
There is also no information on the poster raised by the so-called Israeli protestor.
Meanwhile, another user on Threads, khadeebeautee suggested that the Israelis who manage to enter Malaysia are those with dual citizenship.

Another user reminded folks of the incident when a so-called Palestinian of Israeli nationality managed to enter Malaysia. wankenubi wrote:

One user, however, asked whether local lawyers would defend the ‘Israeli protestor’ if there was a case against the individual.
