MUSLIMS have apparently been angered by a group of Christian evangelists who allegedly spread the Christian faith publicly while openly insult Prophet Muhammad in the process.
This follows a viral clip of the church group led by an apparent priest preaching to patrons of a coffee shop in First Garden, Ipoh about salvation and the contributions of Jesus Christ to mankind in English accompanied by a lady interpreter who translated the content to Mandarin.
“Indian evangelical Christians openly spread religion, even to the extent of insulting Prophet Muhammad and Buddha🖕😡,” fumed anti-kuil haram (illegal temple) advocate Fendi #RobohKuilHaram (@BendiTheBagak) in a post bearing hashtag #PariahWatch on X.

“We shall not tolerate if you touch the name of our Prophet,” he further berated.
Editor’s Note: It was preached that both Prophet Muhammad and Buddha were buried upon their death “but Jesus Christ rose from the dead”.
The poster attributed the less than three-minute-long clip to Threader chepai2023 who had earlier expressed dismay at the evangelists for citing the name of Prophet Muhammad although he was tolerant of the act of preaching to their non-Muslim crowd.
“I’m fine if he wants to tell a story in front of his race or disciples of the same religion,” he penned in a recent post.
“But when he quotes the name of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, I’m concerned. Is this really how Christians propagate Christianity in Ipoh?”

On Facebook, netizen Naz Kdas wondered on the UPDATE& INFO🇲🇾✍️ page that fetched 721 likes, 788 comments, 207 shares and 31K views “what was the ceramah about” and whether “it possessed a permit”.

This was when one Muslim commenter motored the idea of “mass police reports like those lodged against anti-kuil haram activist Tamim Dahri Abdul Razak”.

One agitated Muslim warned of severe consequences by insinuating that Muslims could take law into their own hands should there be no action by the cops.
“If the PDRM (Royal Malaysia Police) doesn’t take HARD, STRONG and DECISIVE action against this priest, it’s feared that Malay Muslims will take very harsh and painful action against the Indian team involved in the video,” he cautioned.

Others described was transpired on the video as constituting 3R (race, religion, royalty) breaches. Additionally, it was alleged that “the Christian faith can’t be preached openly according to the Federal constitution”.

In essence, a lot of harsh bashing was directed at the group of evangelists with one rightist commenter retorted that “even an ustaz who wants to teach at the mosque needs a permit and certification” while another simply implied that “Malaysia is peaceful without them”. – July 19, 2026
