Bersama kicks off its grassroots tour ahead of GE16

PARTI Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) founder Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and party leader Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad have chosen Melaka as the starting point of a nationwide grassroots tour in a bid to explain the mission and vision of the newly founded political organisation.

In a Facebook post, Rafizi said they have been meeting members in Melaka, adding that the party is rolling out digital tools it developed to help its members carry out their campaigns.

Rafizi also said the initiative aims to empower members through digital tools, enabling them to launch community service projects independently without waiting for top leadership.

“Starting today, every day Nik Nazmi, Syukri Razab, other organisers, and I will head down to the parliamentary units together,” he said.

“Nik Nazmi and I are in Melaka today going down to meet Bersama members and give briefings regarding the mission and vision of the party.

“We will also train members to use the digital system that has been developed so that members can expand community service with their own initiative, without waiting for the leadership.”

The team will visit Setiawangsa, Selayang, Kota Raja, and Shah Alam next week before returning to Melaka and continuing to Pulau Pinang.

Rafizi added that this routine will continue until polling day for the 16th General Election (GE16).

“Whether I end up getting skinny or even rounder,” he said, underscoring his commitment to daily engagement.
