ZCHWANTECH Sdn Bhd is spearheading greater industry collaboration to strengthen mobile application security and digital trust in Malaysia by having gathered more than 100 industry leaders, cybersecurity professionals, technology executives and policymakers at its recently held Mobile Application Resilience Forum 2026 (MARF 2026).
The event co-hosted by Zchwantech Cybersecurity Sdn Bhd, Total SE Solutions Sdn Bhd, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Global CIO Forum Malaysia served as a strategic platform to address emerging cybersecurity threats and promote stronger security standards across Malaysia’s rapidly expanding digital economy.
The strong participation demonstrated growing recognition that mobile application security is no longer merely an IT concern but a national economic and business imperative, according to Zchwantech chairman Datuk Seow Gim Shen.
“Malaysia’s digital transformation is accelerating with mobile applications increasingly becoming the primary interface between businesses, government and consumers,” he envisages.

However, the convenience and opportunities offered by digitalisation must be supported by equally strong safeguards against cyber threats, fraud and data breaches.
“Cybersecurity can no longer be treated as an afterthought or merely a compliance exercise. It must be embedded into the design, development and operation of digital platforms,” enthused Seow.
“For Malaysia to realise its ambitions as a leading digital economy, we must build an ecosystem where businesses can innovate confidently and consumers can transact securely.”
Through MARF 2026, Zchwantech aims to help bridge the gap between cybersecurity policies, emerging technologies and practical implementation, thus empowering Malaysian businesses to build more secure and resilient digital ecosystems.
In his opening address entitled Mobile Resilience: A National Cyber Security Priority, National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA) director (application and infrastructure division) Rummie Wisning stressed the importance of strengthening mobile application resilience to protect essential digital services and maintain public trust.
He highlighted the need for organisations to adopt a comprehensive approach encompassing cyber threat prevention, detection, incident response and service recovery while supporting stronger governance and continuous security assurance.

NACSA also underscored the importance of public-private collaboration and alignment with Malaysia’s national cybersecurity framework, including the Cyber Security Act 2024, in building a more secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
In view of this, a major focus of MARF 2026 was CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Mobile Application Certification (MAC) Scheme which promotes independent evaluation and certification of mobile applications against defined security requirements.
As a homegrown technology solutions provider, Zchwantech has been focusing on helping organisations strengthen their cybersecurity posture through technology solutions and services by supporting application security, cyber risk management, digital infrastructure protection and enterprise resilience.
“Cyber resilience cannot be built in silos. MARF 2026 brought government, industry, technology providers and application owners together to turn mobile application security into a shared business and digital-trust priority,” asserted Zchwantech Cybersecurity’s CEO Wayne Wang.
“At Zchwantech Cybersecurity and Total SE Solutions, we want to help organisations move beyond reactive security towards security-by-design, stronger application resilience and greater confidence in Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.” – Oct 23, 2026
