A TRAIN journey between KTM Arau and Kodiang took an alarming turn after a stone was allegedly hurled at the moving train, shattering a window and frightening passengers onboard.
A video circulating on social media platform X captured the incident, showing the aftermath of the impact as passengers were left startled by the sudden commotion.
The stone reportedly struck one of the train’s windows with enough force to break the glass, raising concerns over the safety of passengers travelling along the route.
The incident has since drawn condemnation from netizens, who questioned the recklessness of those responsible for the act.

Many expressed outrage over the potential consequences, pointing out that throwing objects at moving trains is not merely an act of vandalism but could also put innocent lives at risk.
For example, netizen @irl1hke could not comprehend the fact that there are still people who could throw stones at trains in the year 2026.
@demonsrexis further wondered if the vandalism occurred because there was little entertainment in the village.
Also, @Deegee4646 claimed this is also an attempt at murder.
Then there was @Daily_Kanzai sharing that the area to the north is no stranger to such behaviour.

“Facilities are class one, but mentality is class three,” said @platea0_ in a biting comment.

@AnakinKnight1 further pointed out that a wild boar would not commit such a despicable act.
What should have been an ordinary train journey between Arau and Kodiang instead has now turned into a highlight on passenger safety.
While the incident in no way matches the magnitude of the Kelana Jaya LRT line that threw several passengers when it suddenly stopped, the authorities should not take it lightly.
If the perpetrator is left unopposed, one can only wonder if the next object thrown into the KTM window will be larger than a stone.—Oct 30, 2026
