THE Ministry of Rural Development has appointed four people as chairman of Majlis Amanah Rakyat’s (MARA) subsidiaries, effective May 15.
In a statement, the ministry named Datuk Dr Roziah Omar as Kolej Poly-Tech MARA Sdn Bhd chairman, Mazlan Othman as MARA Liner Sdn Bhd chairman, Captain (B) Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya as Asia AeroTechnic Sdn Bhd chairman, and Shaik Rizal Sulaiman as Harta Prima Realties Sdn Bhd chairman.
Meanwhile, Rosely Kusip was appointed as chairman of RISDA Estates, one of the subsidiaries of the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA), which is tasked with managing the estates and mills under RISDA.
The ministry also announced the appointment of two new board members of GIATMARA and five new board members of RISDA. — May 13, 2020, Bernama
