SERBA Dinamik Holdings Bhd co-founder Awang Daud Awang Putera has emerged as a substantial shareholder in automation solutions provider i-Stone Group Bhd.
Awang acquired 32.96 million shares in i-Stone yesterday from One United Equity Sdn Bhd, bringing his shareholding to 26.98%.
Awang is also executive chairman and major shareholder of listed Minetech Resources Bhd as well as chairman of DAP4orty Global Sdn Bhd, a privately-held group with interests in quarrying, retail, food and beverage, oil and gas, technology and realty.
As part of the share-disposal exercise, One Equity ceased to be substantial shareholders while i-Stone’s managing director Rebecca Tee and Chan Kok San, an executive director, continue as substantial shareholders with management and operational duties.
Shares of i-Stone were down 6.45% at 29 sen at the market close today. – Aug 12, 2020
