Auto firm honchos pick up leads on business competitiveness, sustainability

THE Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) saw seven automotive companies ‘graduate’ from its CEO/Owner Growth Mindset Programme (COGMP) that saw the participation of the top management of the companies.

The companies involved were Autokeen Sdn Bhd, Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd, WSA Engineering Sdn Bhd, Ueda Plating (M) Sdn Bhd, Kah Hong Precision Tooling Sdn Bhd, Kasai Teck See (M) Sdn Bhd and Industrial Quality Management Sdn Bhd.

The COGMP, initiated in 2017, is described as a business enhancement programme designed by MARii to transform the mindset of CEOs and business owners towards achieving world-class levels of competitiveness and sustainability.

“As leaders of our own organisations, we often find ourselves challenged by time and
cost to clearly define and align our goals throughout the organisation. The COGMP is
designed to instil a collective growth mindset from the top levels, which can directly
influence the culture, performance and operations of a company”, said MARii CEO Madani Sahari at the ceremony in Cyberjaya today.

Madani noted that the COGMP also serves as a trigger for top and senior management to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies and services.

In the programme, various business operations aspects are covered such as production planning, safety, and cost management, while emphasising good workplace culture by practising the usage of clear and effective communication channels. – Aug 13, 2020
