Popping up everywhere with its yummy favourites

CRAVING for that creamy, mouth-watering bowl of Mac & Cheese? Look no further than Pop Meals (previously dahmakan) on your phone app or at its new concept store in D’Pulze Mall, Cyberjaya.

With comfort meals for under RM15 each, Pop Meals has quickly proven to be a hit among shoppers, as their selection ranges from local to Western food.

“Our team works relentlessly to identify the most popular meals in Malaysia before offering them at the outlets. Customers can dine-in, take away or order delivery through the mobile app,” its communications manager Nurul Jamaludin pointed out.

Using the Pop Meals app, customers can leave suggestions for new menu items which are then developed by an in-house food development team.

While most restaurants revamp menu items yearly, Pop Meals creates innovative dishes every other week.

The outfit is set to go nationwide next year before serving up their delicacies to other Southeast Asian foodies.

Many of its earliest fans are local celebrities and foodies like @ninaismailsabri, @drsheikhmuszaphar, @say_shazril, @adrianaroslan, @monkeydisease, @athishakhan, @iramohdamin, @myazulkifli, @julianaevans, @atiliaharon and @tastydigs.

The first Malaysian astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar (@drsheikhmuszaphar) gave two thumbs up for their Spaghetti Carbonara and Nasi Lemak Rendang.

Nina Sabrina (@ninaismailsabri) complimented their fast delivery. Meanwhile, Annatasha (@monkeydisease) noted that her meal was a good-size portion and “totally worth the price”.

Also, the ever-popular “Doul’s Salted Egg Butter Chicken” has remained “Top of the Charts” for three weeks in a row.
