MALAYSIA has logged 14,345 new COVID-19 cases on Monday (Sept 20), thus bringing the cumulative total to 2,112,175.
According to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow website, 16,814 patients have recovered, with the total discharge now standing at 1,880,733.
There were 301 deaths, including those who had been brought in dead (BID), bringing the death tally to 23,744.
Sarawak has once again recorded the highest number of cases with 3,611 new infections recorded.
This is followed by Johor (1,598) and Selangor (1,365).
Of the current active cases, 1,154 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 633 of them in need of ventilator support. – Sept 21, 2021.
