EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 55 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 29,631.
“Of the current active cases, 527 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 277 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 5,809 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,541,147.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 4,712 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,446,197.
Sarawak recorded the highest death toll with 22 deaths, followed by Sabah (5), Selangor (5) and Kelantan (5). – Nov 14, 2021.
