EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 31 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 30,862.
“Of the current active cases, 396 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 211 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 4,606 infections, bringing the cumulative total to 2,682,032.
In a tweet, Health Ministry director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also announced that 4,690 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,596,509.
Selangor recorded the highest death toll with 10 deaths, followed by Sabah (7), Perak (4) and Sarawak (4). – Dec 12, 2021.
