EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 20 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,114.
“Of the current active cases, 176 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 98 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 22,802 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,019,163.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 5,442 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now standing at 2,846,713.
Perak recorded the highest death toll last month with 92 deaths, followed by Melaka (59) and Terengganu (55). – Feb 13, 2022
