SENIOR Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has tested positive for COVID-19, his office announced.
According to his ministry, Hishammuddin had already received his booster shot some time back and now is required to undergo RT-PCR tests periodically and conduct self-tests frequently.
“As a person who has received his booster, the Sembrong MP will undergo the isolation period set by the health ministry,” his office stated.
Last week, Hishammuddin and three other senior Barisan Nasional leader were compounded for violating physical distancing rules at a MIC event in Kota Iskandar, Johor.
Apart from Hishammuddin, MIC president Tan Sri SA Vigneswaran and Johor BN chairperson Datuk Hasni Mohammad were also reprimanded by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin. – Feb 22, 2022.
