COVID-19: Malaysia recorded 31,999 infections in the last 24 hours

EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 55 deaths for yesterday and 23 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 32,488.

The site indicated 305 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 191 of them in need of ventilator support. 

As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 31,199 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,305,157 

In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 20,399 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 2,994,840 

Selangor recorded the highest death toll with 10 deaths, followed by Sabah (9) Johor (8), Perak (7), Kedah (4), Malacca (4), Pahang (4), Penang (3), Kuala Lumpur (3), Kelantan (1), Negeri Sembilan (1) and Perlis (1). — Feb 24, 2022
