COVID-19: 75 fatalities as of yesterday, highest since Oct 2021

EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 75 deaths for yesterday and 20 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 32,634.

The site indicated 361 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 193 of them in need of ventilator support. 

As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 23,100 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,442,736 

In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 30,624 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,116,564 

Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths at (22) followed by The state with the highest death toll was Selangor (22) followed by Johor (13), Sabah (11), Kedah (7), Perak (7), Kelantan (3), Melaka (3), Pulau Pinang (3), Terengganu (2), Negeri Sembilan (1), Pahang (1), Sarawak (1), Kuala Lumpur (1). — March 1, 2022
