EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 70 deaths for yesterday and 19 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 33,567.
The site indicated 389 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 229 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 30,787 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,741,986.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 26,457 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,393,999.
Perak recorded the highest number of deaths at 20 followed by Selangor (11), Johor (10), Kelantan (9), Kedah (7), Negeri Sembilan (4), Sabah (4), Pahang (3), Perlis (1) and Terengganu (1). — March 11, 2022
