EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 85 deaths for yesterday and 23 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,329.
The site indicated 390 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 219 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 22,341 infections, bringing the cumulative total 3,974,019.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 33,347 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,656,415.
Johor recorded the highest number of deaths at 18 followed by Perak (17), Selangor (15), Kedah (10), Penang (5), Malacca (4), Pahang (4), Kelantan (3), Kuala Lumpur (3), Sabah (2), Sarawak (2), Terengganu (1) and Putrajaya (1). — March 20, 2022
