EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 73 deaths for yesterday and 25 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,535.
The site indicated 339 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 209 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 21,483 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,032,435.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 32,561 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,745,229.
Perak recorded the highest number of deaths at 19 followed by Johor (11), Selangor (11), Kedah (9), Penang (8), Kelantan (3), Malacca (3), Sabah (3), Terengganu (3), Negri Sembilan (1), Perlis (1) and Sarawak (1). — March 23, 2022
