EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 54 deaths for yesterday and 16 was declared as “brought in dead”, bringing total fatality to 34,842.
The site indicated 288 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 185 of them in need of ventilator support.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 13,336 infections, bringing the cumulative total 4,152,203.
Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced than 25,552 patients have been recovered, with the total discharged now standing at 3,896,489.
Selangor which both recorded the highest number of deaths at 13 deaths each followed by Perak (nine), Kuala Lumpur (eight), Kedah (five), Negri Sembilan (five), Johor (three), Sarawak (three), Terengganu (three), Kelantan (three), Melaka (two) and Penang (one). — March 29, 2022
