EAST and West we have come together,
Forging a nation that strives to be better;
Challenges aplenty we faced on the way,
Backed by the people’s solidarity we remained steady.
67 years and we have been tested to the brim,
Our Muhibbah spirit all differences have overcome;
The people’s hard work has socio-economic progress enabled,
Governments successive have multi-racial unity reinforced.
For a good future we have laid the foundations,
The youth today shoulder the national aspirations;
Our progressive country a brave new world will face;
